Welcome to Zion Evangelical Church

Zion holds to the basic beliefs of the faith as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed. We believe:

  • The Bible is the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  • God in His grace and mercy sent His only Son Jesus Christ to redeem the world from sin and death. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there is no other name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12) and no other way to heaven and the Father (John 14:6).

  • God loves all men (1 John 4), but those who do not have faith in Jesus are lost to condemnation (Matt. 25:31-46). Therefore, we are called to share our faith in Jesus, and bring His love to others (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20).
